Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify high-authority platforms suitable for Parasite SEO (especially Reddit, Medium, LinkedIn Articles, Quora, Substack, and other relevant high-DA sites).
- Conduct keyword research focused on competitive terms where Parasite SEO can deliver faster rankings than traditional on-site SEO.
- Create, optimize, and publish high-quality, value-driven content on selected platforms (with strong focus on Reddit communities and similar UGC platforms) that ranks well and naturally drives traffic or conversions to client sites.
- Implement proper on-page SEO (titles, headings, internal linking, CTAs, and natural backlinks) while strictly following platform guidelines and avoiding spammy tactics.
- Monitor indexation, rankings, traffic, and performance of published content using tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar.
- Analyze results, test hypotheses, and refine strategies based on performance data.
- Collaborate with the team to align Parasite SEO efforts with broader client strategies.
- Stay updated on platform policy changes (especially Reddit and other major platforms), Google algorithm updates, and best practices to keep tactics effective and sustainable.
- Maintain detailed reports on published URLs, ranking progress, traffic, and ROI.
Requirements
Technical Skills (Must-Have)
- Proven hands-on experience with Parasite SEO, with strong practical experience on Reddit and other high-authority platforms (Medium, LinkedIn, Quora, etc.).
- Solid understanding of search engine algorithms, domain authority, indexation, and ranking factors.
- Experience publishing and ranking content on Reddit communities and similar UGC platforms in a non-spam, content-first manner.
- Strong keyword research and on-page SEO skills.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Ability to create or brief high-quality, non-spammy content that provides genuine value.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking and reporting on rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote contract role and meet deadlines consistently.
